HP is seeking its 6th state championship
The Lady Scots soccer team wrapped up its regular season with a 10-0 win over Richardson on March 18. The Lady Scots earned second place in District 10-6A with a 12-2-0 record and will advance to the postseason.
HP will face Irving Nimitz in the bidistrict round of the UIL 6A state championship playoffs at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24 at Highlander Stadium. Click here for the complete playoff bracket.
Tickets will be available at the gate, $5 for adults and $3 for students, and 100 lucky fans will receive a free T-shirt.
The Flying Scots Men’s Track team participated in the Raider Relays in Garland and posted some impressive results!
In the Varsity division Andrew Kliewer won the bronze medal in the 3200, Etienne Black bronze in the Pole Vault, Bobby Hrncir bronze in the discus.
In the JV division Sam Sloan won the gold medal in the 800 and silver medal in the 400, Matthew Webster silver in the shot put, Ford McGovern silver in the 800 and Trevor Schillaci silver in the 1600.
The Varsity/JV will compete in the Carl Norris Relays @ Hanby Stadium on March 3rd. The Freshmen will host at home @ Germany Park on March 23rd. GO SCOTS!!!

HPMS 8th grader David Worthen (13) won the Boys 13-14 division of the North Texas Junior PGA All American Tour, on February 20-21, at Tierra Verde Golf Club. David birdied the final two holes in windy conditions to post a final round 72, winning the tournament by two strokes.
