The HP swim and dive team celebrated its award-winning season at the annual team banquet April 7. Captains’ awards and senior farewell speeches highlighted a fantastic year.
Sophomore Felix Van Cauwelaert, who was named District Swimmer of the Year and qualified to swim at the state championship meet, and senior Helena Burns, who was also named District Swimmer of the Year, earned 2015-16 MVP honors.
The swimmers are already looking forward to making a splash next season.
